An absolute dream trip with beautiful impressions is ready for you. This tour offers you spectacular locations and impresses with its diversity and varied stops.
You start by exploring Etosha National Park, where wild African animals await you - with a bit of luck you'll see the BIG 5! Continue to the Waterberg and the surrounding national park. Photo enthusiasts in particular will get their money's worth with the picturesque scenery. After a short stop in the Erongo region, you drive to the Atlantic coast to Swakopmund. Colonial sights include the Swakopmund lighthouse and the pier, an old seawall. In addition to the lighthouse, the Swakopmund Museum traces Namibian history. Your journey takes you via Solitaire with its rusty cars to the dunes of Sossusvlei. Sossusvlei is a beige salt-clay pan ("vlei") surrounded by Namib sand dunes in the Namib Desert. On to Goageb, the Naukluft massif offers a mountainous landscape with deep gorges crossed by year-round streams that form crystal-clear pools. Next stop Fish Canyon River. The Fish Canyon River is one of Africa's most impressive natural wonders and is the second largest canyon in the world after the Grand Canyon and the longest river in Namibia. Ever heard of Namaqualand? One of the main attractions of Namaqualand is the annual desert bloom that takes place at the end of August/beginning of September: provided the temperatures and rain are right, the seemingly lifeless desert floor unfolds into millions of flowers within a few days. You drive down over the imposing Cedar Mountains to Cape Town. Here you will discover and explore the "Mother City" for another 4 days before returning home.
