Days overview

Arrival in Cape Town and drive/shuttle to your accommodation in the Stellenbosch Winelands. The rest of the day is free at leisure. The accommodation Lanzerac awaits you on a private wine estate in the Jonkershoek Valley, surrounded by the mountain range around the Helderberg. A real pearl and oasis of well-being. Accommodation: Lanzerac Hotel & Spa
De Zalze Golf Course is located in De Zalze Winelands, just minutes from the accommodation. The golf course was designed by Peter Matkovich, who has designed several golf courses in the region. The course features impressive scenery and requires a very precise game from the golfer. PGA Tour events of the Sunshine Tour are held here regularly. Accommodation: Lanzerac Hotel & Spa
Jack Nicklaus' signature course in Pearl Valley offers the highest sporting standards and is always in excellent condition. Although the magnificent course is one of the most expensive in South Africa, it is well worth a visit. From a playing point of view, you can expect a tournament course of the very best. Huge bunkers with water and heavy ondulations at the putts demand everything from you. And then these fairways.
Today you're taking a break from golf. But instead it's time for the glasses. A private driver will pick you up from your accommodation in the morning and take you to the most beautiful wine farms of the country. Of course, the team of Afrika24 Reisen will assist you with the pre-selection and booking. In the afternoon you will return to the Hotel & Spa Lanzerac. There you have the evening at your free disposal.
We start early on the Garden Route. The first stop on the country's most popular road trip tour is the waterfront town of Mossel Bay. After checking in at your 4-star accommodation and settling in for a short while, it's on to the Pinnacle Point Golf Club. This is a course you have to experience, no matter what the scorecard says. The fairways are very well maintained and golf takes on a new dimension. Every player will be enchanted by the view, the bays and the fairways connected to them. Unforgettable pictures included and without extra charge :)
Its safari time!!! Today you put your golf clubs aside and drive to the nearby Botlierskop Game Reserve. Here you can get to know four of the "Big Five" - rhino, lion, elephant and buffalo. The Botlierskop Game Reserve also impresses with its upscale room standard, authentic South African cuisine and a modern spa and fitness area.
In the morning, after a drive of about 1 1/2 hours, you will reach another highlight on the Garden Route: Knsyna. The town of Knysna is located on a 20 square kilometer lagoon. This can be reached by a very narrow and rocky entrance from the sea. The Knysna Heads connect the lagoon with the Indian Ocean. A very charming place that invites you to walk along the waterfront or go hiking. Knysna is also known for special wine tastings and great restaurants.
Another round of golf is on the daily schedule. Here you can choose between two renowned golf courses, which are located nearby. Simola Golf Course: The first Jack Nicklaus Signature Course on the Garden Route, reflecting the philosophy of the world's most famous golf course builder. The rolling parkland course offers challenging and demanding golf, set amid spectacular scenery. Virtually every hole offers exceptional views; either over the Knysna Lagoon to the Heads of Knysna or over the picturesque Knysna River. Pezula Golf Course The spectacular 18-hole par 72 resort golf course, was designed by David Dale and Ronald Fream of GolfPlan USA. The Pezula Championship Golf Course is also located on the cliffs of Knysna. The almost unbelievable viewpoints over the Indian Ocean and the sometimes adventurous golf holes with huge elevation changes, are the main feature of this long golf course (Yellow 6355 m).
Well rested and with unforgettable memories you will leave Knysna for Cape Town, where you will spend two more days in the Mother City. Also for this we will gladly make a pre-selection of activities suitable for the group.
