Cape Town is calling! At the beginning of your trip you will experience the vibrant Cape Town for three days. On the agenda are sightseeing classics such as a hike or gondola ride up Table Mountain - one of the 7 Wonders of the World - and a visit to the world-famous Cape of Good Hope. For the evening, we will organize tables for you in trendy restaurants in the city. On day 4 your road trip adventure starts on the beautiful Garden Route. A visit to an ostrich farm in Oudtshorn or the scenic drive over the Swartberg Pass are just a few of the many highlights that await you there before you experience an adventurous safari in the Addo Elephant Park. You will return to Cape Town via Tsitsikamma National Park with a stopover in Stellenbosch, where you will enjoy a full-day wine tour of the country's most beautiful wine estates. If you wish, you can make another stop in Somerset West, where our partner NGO the Young Bafana Soccer Academy invites you to a township tour. The last day before departure in Cape Town is free for you.

Days overview

You will be picked up at the airport and driven to your accommodation in Cape Town. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight + breakfast e.g. 3* Mojo Hotel in Cape Town
Off to Table Mountain! One of the 7 wonders of the world. Our tour guide will take you at the appropriate time with your tickets in hand to the gondola lift that will take you to the viewing platform at almost 1000 meters above sea level. Alternatively, you can choose the private guided walking tour (about 2 hours) to the top of Table Mountain. Once at the top, a view awaits you that you will never forget! Other highlights of the city will be selected for you individually. Overnight + breakfast again in the same accommodation
Perhaps you can already guess where the journey is going. Of course, the tour to the Cape of Good Hope is meant. The most southwestern point of Africa is definitely a "must see" among the sights in the Cape Town region. In addition to the visit to the Cape, a car ride over the famous Chapmans Peak Drive is also included. Enjoy a view of the extra class and make great souvenir photos. Furthermore, you can make a wonderful stop at Boulders Beach, where you will meet the most famous penguin colony in South Africa. Overnight + breakfast again in the same accommodation
Today our Garden Route tour starts. You will drive from Cape Town on Route 62 to Oudtshoorn in the Klein Karoo. Your accommodation is characterized by a beautiful view of the mountains. In the evening you will enjoy a typical South African dinner at your accommodation. Overnight stay + half board e.g. in the 4* Hlangana Lodge
Day trip. It goes over the Meiringspoort Pass from the small to the big Karoo and back in the direction of Oudtshoorn over the worth seeing Swartberg Pass. Afterwards you will visit the stalactite cave Cango Caves. Dinner back at your accommodation. Overnight + half board in the same accommodation in Oudtshoorn.
Drive to the Addo Elephant Park. The journey continues through the Karoo Desert. In the afternoon you will reach your accommodation. Next day. Safari in your own tour vehicle through the Addo Elephant National Park. In the afternoon you will join a guided safari in an open safari tour vehicle. Overnight + breakfast e.g. at 4* Elephant House at Addo Park.
Drive to Knysna with a stop at the Tsitsikamma National Park. In Knysna you will visit the "Knysna Heads" and enjoy the picturesque view over the lagoon. Overnight + breakfast e.g. at 4* Cliff House Knysna
Today we travel along the Garden Route via Wilderness, past Mossel Bay and over Sir Lowry's Pass to the wine region around Stellenbosch. Overnight + breakfast e.g. at the 4* Oude Werf Hotel in Stellenbosch.
Today you will be chauffeured from winery to winery and through the mountains of the Stellenbosch and/or Franschhoek region. On the way you will get great views, interesting information about the surroundings. You will taste the wines of excellent wineries. We will make a suitable pre-selection of suitable wine tastings for you and send you on a journey where you will taste South African quality wines on fantastic estates. We put special emphasis on the selection of wineries that are not overrun by tourists and are still considered real insider tips. Overnight + breakfast again in the same accommodation in Stellenbosch.
We are the only tour operator working closely with the social project, the Young Bafana Soccer Academy (www.youngbafana.com) which is located in Somerset West, about 40 minutes drive from Cape Town. You will get the opportunity to experience a township in the Helderberg region. Get a behind the scenes look at Lwandle Township. A long-time Young Bafana employee and trainer who lives in Lwandle Township will guide you through the township, answer questions and ensure the safety of the tour. Young Bafana has been active in Lwandle Township since 2010 and, in addition to numerous tours, has so far deployed over 50 volunteers from Germany and other European countries in South Africa, who spend time in Lwandle Township on a daily basis. Please feel free to contact us personally if you have any further questions regarding safety and local conditions in the township. 50% of today's tour proceeds will stay with the Young Bafana Soccer Academy and with your visit you will leave a positive contribution for disadvantaged children and youth in Lwandle. In the evening we head back to Cape Town. Overnight + breakfast e.g. 4* Clarendon Hotel in Cape Town
